Celebrating 25 Years With Cake and a Concert

Friday, September 14th, 2018

The Library Foundation celebrated 25 years of serving donors and supporting the Library with cake (and cupcakes!) at Geezerfest. Foundation Board President Bruce Robison, pictured with the cake before it was devoured, said a few words to the packed auditorium and overflow audience in the concourse before Geezer rocked the house. Library Board of Trustees member Andrea McKinney and Foundation Board member Bob Shaw got in on the fun while handing out treats. A cool, drizzly evening forced the concert indoors from the patio to the Library Center auditorium.

Join us on the patio for our fall Geezer concert! The whole family can enjoy an eclectic list of tunes from the 60s to the present while we celebrate the Library Foundation’s 25th anniversary with cake. Introductory remarks will begin at 6:45 p.m. with the concert starting at 7 p.m. This free, two-hour concert is made possible by our generous Friends of the Library. Concert will take place in the auditorium in the event of bad weather.
