Music & Lyrics Registration Extended

music-clip-art-music-notes-clipartRegistration for the Music & Lyrics Workshop, sponsored by GigSalad and featuring guest presenter Tom Sharpe, Yamaha Artist and drummer for Grammy Award-winning Mannheim Steamroller, has been extended to Thursday, September 22, at 9:00 p.m. Persons interested in registering for the workshop (see blog post dated August 16, 2016, for details) may download the registration form and drop it with the registration fee by any library branch in the Springfield-Greene County Library District, or may send it electronically by email to foundation@thelibrary.org. The registration form and schedule may be found in the orange box to the right.

Electronically submitted registrations may be paid by credit card by clicking the “Donate Today” button at the top of the page. Please complete the gift form with only the required information requested (marked with an asterisk), and put in the gift amount of $75. At the bottom of the gift form, in the box titled “Gift Designation/Message (Optional)” please type a message indicating that the payment is for the Music & Lyrics Workshop registration.¬†When you submit the form, you will be directed to a secure checkout page where you can pay by PayPal or credit card.

All this and glass art, too!

You’ll see an artistic touch developing atop the Brentwood Branch these days — a pinnacle — that will soon serve as a kind of beacon¬†for evening visitors. bwd-pinnacleGlass panels will be installed around it and a light will provide a soft glow. Still to come, Springfield Hot Glass is designing a lovely sculpture mobile for visitors to enjoy once they step inside the “new” Schweitzer Brentwood Branch!
