Those Iconic Blue Tiles

Wondering what happened to Brentwood Branch’s iconic blue sunburst tiles when the renovation began? You’ll see them again. BWD_Blue Tile (Similar tiles added in the 1994 expansion did not fare well in removal.) Brentwood’s neighbor, the Carpet Shoppe, will clean and store the blue tiles during the renovation. When the library reopens this winter, you’ll be able to enjoy them again, this time inside. They will form an artistic backsplash for the new coffee kiosk just inside the entrance.
