Brentwood Renovation Begins!

Friday, May 27th, 2016

The walls are coming down to make way for the Brentwood Branch makeover. Demolition of the interior is happening quickly, and construction should begin by early June. Here’s what our beloved neighborhood library looks like at the moment. Don’t despair – it’s going to be great when it reopens in six to nine months. Stay tuned; we’ll keep you posted as the project takes shape.

Monday, May 2nd, 2016

Give-Ozarks-Blue-GreenThe Give Ozarks 24-hour online giving campaign is a great way to make a donation to the “ReNew Brentwood” Capital Campaign! Even small donations can turn into big dollars, as the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and it sponsors are offering prizes up to $2,500 throughout the 24-hour period. A donation of any amount will enter the Library Foundation in the prize drawings and competitions! Simply click on the graphic to the left to go straight to the Library Foundation’s Give Ozarks 2016 page.

With only about $58,000 to go in our $2.5 million campaign to renew and renovate the Brentwood Branch Library, your donation will make a large impact. Thanks for going online tonight and tomorrow to make a difference in the lives of Springfield and Greene County residents who depend on libraries for many reasons.

You can learn more about the campaign and the planned renovations here.
